The 2024 recruiting cycle is nearing an end, but the Tennessee Vols are still extending offers to recruits.

On Wednesday, the Vols offered a 2024 recruit that's been committed to Kentucky since June.

Three-star tight end Willie Rodriguez tweeted on Wednesday that he was offered by Tennessee.

Rodriguez, 6-foot-4/240 lbs from Alexandria, KY, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 8 player in the state of Kentucky and the No. 47 tight end in the nation.

The Kentucky native also has offers from Louisville, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt, among several others.

This is a late offer from the Vols and it would likely take some work to land Rodriguez before the early signing period in a couple of weeks (unless Rodriguez delays his signing until February, which is possible since he doesn't plan to enroll until the summer).

Tennessee currently has 20 players committed to its 2024 recruiting class.
