2026 four-star edge rusher Tristian Givens included Tennessee among his top four schools this week, along with Florida State, Texas A&M, and USC.
Givens, 6-foot-3/215 lbs from Columbus, GA, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 6 edge rusher in the nation and the No. 7 player in the state of Georgia. He's also rated as the No. 60 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.
Tennessee is currently viewed as a slight favorite for Givens, though there's still work to be done for the Vols to win this recruiting battle.
“I know he (Vols head coach Josh Heupel) and the staff have me as one of their top guys and they are recruiting me really hard," said Givens to On3’s Chad Simmons earlier this year.
Florida State is also near the top of this recruiting battle.
Givens is set to take several official visits later this spring/summer, including an official visit to Tennessee on June 13.
