Ahead of UTSA's game against the Tennessee Vols on Saturday, Roadrunners head coach Jeff Traylor said that he expected the environment at Neyland Stadium to be the best he's ever seen.

"[We've] talked to people that have played there (at Neyland) and there's no other place like it, that's what we've been told as far as the noise," said Traylor before playing Tennessee.

After UTSA's 45-14 loss on Saturday evening, Traylor acknowledged that what he heard about playing at Tennessee was accurate.

"We’ve played four good opponents in a row and today was the best one by far," said Traylor after the loss to the Vols. "It’s the best environment in college football. It was incredible — unless you’re a Roadrunner, or you’re a quarterback trying to communicate. Or if you’re a linebacker trying to communicate to your down people. They have a great home environment here. It’s incredible.

The nation saw last season that when Neyland Stadium is at its best, there's no place like it in college football. Neyland was rocking at times against UTSA, but what Traylor saw is only a fraction of how electric a football game in Knoxville can be.

Next Saturday night against South Carolina, we should see Neyland at its best. The Vols will certainly need Tennessee fans to be as loud as ever against a Gamecocks team that will be eager to make it two in a row against UT.
