2-Round 2025 NFL Mock Draft
Round One
1. Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward, QB Miami (FL)
It's becoming quite obvious that the Tennessee Titans are going to be selecting a quarterback first overall if they cannot trade down from this spot. They're not going to run it back with Will Levis, and Brandon Allen (their free agency QB signing) is just there because of his past relationship with Brian Callahan, understanding of his offense as a backup.
Cam Ward is the clear choice as the top overall QB based on everything we heard at the NFL Combine and shortly thereafter. His 8.8 yards per play and top overall QBR last fall speak for themselves. His arm talent and ability to extend plays to create some magic adds to the fuel of "obvious QB1" for most teams around the league.
2. Cleveland Browns: Abdul Carter, EDGE Penn State
The Browns are extremely far from "just a QB away" when it comes to competing. There's no need to force a QB selection while they still can't build a roster around him. Grab the best pass rushing talent who can do much more than that in Abdul Carter.
He's still just one year in to playing edge defender full-time and yet he was immediately the best in the nation. Easy talent decision, with the only other very plausible pick here being Travis Hunter.
3. New York Giants: Travis Hunter, CB/WR Colorado
The Giants are playing the waiting game with Russell Wilson or Aaron Rodgers here. They're likely to sign a veteran who can hopefully help Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen get off the hot seats with a few more wins in 2025.
Landing a talent like Travis Hunter could be an instant-impact game changer for the team who could play both cornerback and wide receiver on a roster that needs both.
4. New England Patriots: Armand Membou, OT Missouri
The fastest rising prospect in NFL Draft circles for the last three months has been Armand Membou and there really isn't a close second. He went from "day two" talent to a potential Top 10 overall prospect as more analysts got eyes on him and he dominated the NFL Combine.
Thanks to his physical measurements, athleticism, picture perfect pass blocking, and versatility, the Patriots land the best true offensive tackle in the class who doesn't have any major medical or arm length concerns.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Mason Graham, DT Michigan
Mason Graham might be a bit compact for the typical defensive tackle prospect, but he's the most disruptive, havoc-wreaking force in the entire draft class. The Jaguars could use some game wreckers along their defensive interior and Graham's 10% pressure and 8%+ havoc rates should help immensely.
6. Las Vegas Raiders: Will Johnson, CB Michigan
The Raiders only made one cheap cornerback acquisition via free agency and they could use much more on the outside. Will Johnson posted two near-perfect seasons in coverage, then snagged two pick-six interception touchdowns before going down with injury last fall. His speed "concerns" are overblown. He could be the best player on many teams' boards at this point.
7. New York Jets: Will Campbell, OT LSU
The Jets need to buy new quarterback Justin Fields some time and they just let Morgan Moses walk off the right side of their line. Will Campbell played left tackle, but he has the flexibility to plug and play for them right away. His arm length is less than ideal, but even if he kicks inside long-term his blocking talent and consistency are too much to let drop very far in the 2025 NFL Draft.
8. Carolina Panthers: Tyler Warren, TE Penn State
The Panthers signed Tommy Tremble back to the team (for some reason) on a short-term deal, but don't let fool anyone. They need more difference makers on offense to help Bryce Young continue in his development and Warren can do just that. Warren's 1450+ yards from scrimmage and a dozen touchdowns showcased his full skill set as a receiver, a runner, and a lights out blocking force too.
9. New Orleans Saints: Jaxson Dart, QB Ole Miss
The recent buzz about Derek Carr potentially being moved at some point this offseason likely aren't true. However, his contract restructure makes him quite difficult to keep on the roster in 2026. Drafting their quarterback of the future a year ahead of time and letting him develop a year behind a veteran may be the best move.
Jaxson Dart has the best meaningful metrics profile in the entire 2025 NFL Draft class (confirmed by multiple NFL analytics departments). He finished the year ranked first in yards per play, total yards per game, adjusted yards per pass attempt, and top three in EPA per play and passer rating. Plus he can make QB1 kind of throws like in the post below.
10. Chicago Bears: Ashton Jeanty, RB Boise State
The Chicago Bears need to keep adding weapons to take the pressure off of emerging star quarterback Caleb Williams. Ashton Jeanty put up nearly 2800 yards from scrimmage and 30 touchdowns last season on almost 400 touches. He's a high efficiency, powerful, smart, balanced running back that would add some major juice to the Bears offense on the ground and through the air.
11. San Francisco 49ers: Josh Simmons, OT Ohio State
If Josh Simmons looks healthy throughout April when he meets with teams (like he said he would at the NFL Combine) it's going to be tough for the 49ers to pass him up at pick 11. They're going to need their replacement for Trent Williams soon and Williams has every trait teams look for in the perfect offensive tackle. Yes, his sample of elite play was short due to injury last fall, but he's worth the shot here.
12. Dallas Cowboys: Shemar Stewart, EDGE
The Cowboys signed a couple one-year rentals at EDGE via free agency, which could help Shemar Stewart buy some time as he develops more layers to his game. The absurd 100th percentile athletic traits for the position are too much to pass up here as the Cowboys need to get younger and more explosive of the edge.
13. Miami Dolphins: Nick Emmanwori, S South Carolina
The Dolphins just lost both starting safeties this offseason and are in desperate need of talent there. Nick Emmanwori tested so well at the NFL Combine that he could have been a 100th percentile athlete at nearly any and every position. He was a freshman All-American at South Carolina and only improved from there. This may seem high, but the Dolphins are taking him or Malaki Starks here. That much seems clear.
14. Indianapolis Colts: Colston Loveland, TE Michigan
The Colts have not made any big tight end signings yet and they cannot run it back this season with the mess of unimpressive options currently on the roster. Colston Loveland accounted for more receiving production than almost the entire Michigan receiver group last season, operating as the de facto WR1. He won't need to do that for the Colts, but adding one more top tier weapon for Anthony Richardson would make a lot of sense.
15. Atlanta Falcons: James Pearce Jr., EDGE Tennessee
The Falcons need to add several defensive pieces still, so landing the only edge defender with back to back seasons of 20%+ pass rush pressure rates is likely a good idea. There were some strange concerns that emerged around the NFL Combine with his "love of football", but he shouldn't fall too far in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. He's just too dynamic and athletic off the edge.
16. Arizona Cardinals: Walter Nolen, DL Ole Miss
Landing Dalvin Tomlinson doesn't make a defensive line addition completely necessary anymore, but Walter Nolen can bring value from any position along the defense line. He's likely more a B-gap specialist, but Nolen was the centerpiece of the most productive pass rush attack in all of college football last season. His power and presence opens up opportunities for those around him.
17. Cincinnati Bengals: Tyler Booker, IOL Alabama
Now that the Cincinnati Bengals have their expensive skill position players locked up they need to make sure to keep Joe Burrow standing upright. Their interior offensive line play last season was absolutely atrocious and Booker could help fix that. He didn't test well at the NFL Combine, but that just makes sure he falls to the Bengals here.
18. Seattle Seahawks: Tetairoa McMillan, WR Arizona
Drafting Tetairoa McMillan to be the new DK Metcalf in this offense with Cooper Kupp and Jaxon Smith-Njigba would give Sam Darnold one of the best WR trios in the NFL from day one. There are some who have speed questions with McMillan given his recent forty time results, so he may fall down the board to this spot.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jihaad Campbell, LB Alabama
The Buccaneers likely go defense-heavy in the 2025 NFL Draft. Jihaad Campbell is the most athletic linebacker in the class. He can bring value off the ball and getting after the passer. Having him learn from one of the greatest to ever play the position in Lavonte David before he retires would be a great way to pass the torch.
20. Denver Broncos – Emeka Egbuka, WR Ohio State
The Broncos have already landed their tight end in Evan Engram (2 years for $23 million). Now they just have to put the finishing touches on the offense with Emeka Egbuka. He was primarily a slot receiver for Ohio State, but he can be extremely versatile, winning in every way an NFL team will require. He has the ball skills. He posted an absurdly impressive production metric season as a true sophomore. The pedigree and athleticism are there. No way he should fall much further than this, if at all.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers: Shedeur Sanders, QB Colorado
The slide stops here for Shedeur Sanders. Regardless of what happens in the veteran quarterback market for Pittsburgh, they would likely take a look here at Sanders. The truth about Sanders is that his raw passing volume stats hid his deficiencies throughout his early college years. However, he finally put everything together for much of 2024, showing improved decision making and efficiency (outside of a few games late in the season). He doesn't have A++ physical traits, but the Steelers would likely take a swing here.
22. Los Angeles Chargers – Mike Green, EDGE Marshall
The Chargers addressed their short-term edge rusher situation with a one-year Khalil Mack contract, but Mike Green would set them up for the future. 17 sacks last season. Impressive motor and strength. Even in a deep edge defender class Mike Green stands out here as an excellent selection.
23. Green Bay Packers – Jahdae Barron, CB Texas
The Packers signed Nate Hobbs to a nice CB2 contract (4 years, $48 million), but still may part ways with Jaire Alexander here soon. Jahdae Barron could immediately slot into a variety of roles for the Packers given his extensive experience both outside, in the slot, and even in the box. There's growing sentiment in recent weeks following the NFL Combine suggesting he might not make it this far, but if he does, the Packers should sprint to the podium.
24. Minnesota Vikings: Malaki Starks, S Georgia
He wasn't the most athletic tester at the NFL Combine, but that doesn't change the fact that he should likely be considered the best safety in the class. There is some concern that he may drop a bit down the board since he tested out like a 25th percentile athlete for the position, but the Vikings benefit here. Starks was a day one impact starter on one of the greatest college defenses of all time at Georgia. No way he isn't a first round talent.
25. Houston Texans: Jalon Walker, LB Georgia
The Houston Texans had pretty terrible linebacker play in 2024 and could use a player like Jalon Walker. He can bring creative pressure off the edge when called upon just like he did at Georgia, but can also play off-ball in a variety of roles. The Texans have failed to address this position well in free agency outside of a couple bandaid cheap contracts.
26. Los Angeles Rams: Kelvin Banks Jr., OT Texas
The Rams could go several directions here, but Kelvin Banks Jr. is an incredible value dropping this late. Some think he could be a guard long term, but he could also replace an aging Rob Havenstein at right tackle here soon as well. Banks is a former high pedigree recruit who put up three straight seasons of top tier pass blocking. Best player available. Easy pick.
27. Baltimore Ravens: Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE Boston College
Donovan Ezeiruaku continues to impress throughout 2025 NFL Draft season. He was an impeccable interview and talent at the Senior Bowl. Then he tested as a 91st percentile athlete at the NFL Combine. He has the key rate stats to back up his traits and intelligence. In recent weeks it seems many believe he's launched himself into the first round of the NFL Draft. The Ravens get a talent here that fits their scheme perfectly.
28. Detroit Lions – Mykel Williams, EDGE Georgia
The Lions still need better pass rush opposite Aidan Hutchinson and Mykel Williams' traits should entice the Lions' brass. His final most important season was broken up a bit by some nagging injuries, so Williams' production wasn't strong outside of just a few games, but he plays the Lions' style of "knee-biting" football.
29. Washington Commanders: Luther Burden, WR Missouri
The Commanders may have just traded for Deebo Samuel, but if they want new franchise quarterback Jayden Daniels to take another step forward grabbing his future WR1 here is a great idea. Burden has long been a first round projection, but has seen his projected draft stock drop a bit lately, so what was thought impossible is possible here now.
Burden plays with great efficiency and explosion both from the slot and the outside. He could also eventually play a clone role that Samuel does for the Commanders given his build and rather unique skill set.
30. Buffalo Bills: Donovan Jackson, OL Ohio State
This might surprise Bills fans, but Donovan Jackson could be one of the best picks of round one. The Bills have zero guards with contracts that aren't completely expendable after 2025. Jackson's recent experience at tackle would give Buffalo an immediate swing tackle and injury insurance policy on the perimeter on top of landing a talent who could immediately challenge to steal a starting guard spot from David Edwards.
31. Kansas City Chiefs: Josh Conerly Jr., OT Oregon
The Chiefs no longer "must" take a tackle given their signing of Jaylon Moore on a two-year deal, but there's a good chance Josh Conerly Jr. is an immediate upgrade anyway (over perhaps both current offensive tackles). Conerly Jr. played two years close to perfection with the Oregon Ducks in 2023 and 2024 in pass protection. Passing on him would likely be a mistake given the importance of protecting Patrick Mahomes.
32. Philadelphia Eagles: Maxwell Hairston, CB Kentucky
The Eagles just moved on from Darius Slay, then added Adoree' Jackson via free agency, but they could still use a good long-term option with top tier athleticism on the outside. Hairston's aggression and physicality at his size is impressive. Landing him here would be such an Eagles move as they get the fastest player in the entire 2025 NFL Draft.
