The Baltimore Ravens currently hold the No. 1 seed in the AFC with a 9-3 record, but the Kansas City Chiefs are just right behind them in the conference standings. A road win for the Chiefs over the Green Bay Packers in Week 13 would move them up to the top spot in the AFC.

As the Ravens and the Chiefs hold the top two seeds in the conference, former New England Patriots defensive back Jason McCourty and the rest of the "Good Morning Football" panel recently took some time to debate on just which of these two teams is the more dangerous squad "right now.” The one-time Super Bowl champion sided with the Ravens on this matter for a few reasons.

"When you talk about being dangerous, yes I know [Patrick Mahomes] has done it time after time after time on the biggest stages, but I'm rolling with the Baltimore Ravens right now," McCourty said. "I think Lamar Jackson, his ability to make plays on the outside, it hasn't happened every week consistently, but I think his weapons in Zay Flowers and Odell Beckham Jr., to Keaton Mitchell now as a running back, the young undrafted rookie, him adding some explosion in the backfield.

"And I think on top of it, these are going to be two good defenses, but I just feel really good about this Baltimore Ravens team of where they're going and how well Lamar has played."

As McCourty touched on, the Chiefs and Ravens each have had their way on the defensive side of the ball this season. On the Ravens' part, they currently rank second in the NFL in both points per game allowed (15.6) and total yards per game allowed (273.9).

It feels inevitable that the Ravens and the Chiefs will go on to square off in the playoffs, and it sure would make for one must-watch matchup.
