Rashod Bateman has upped his play for the Baltimore Ravens as of late.
Bateman had a few promising performances in the second half of the season, such as in Baltimore’s home win against the Miami Dolphins. Bateman tallied season highs across the board in the contest, including in receiving yards (54).
Lamar Jackson will need his entire wide receiver corps to rise to the occasion in the Ravens’ upcoming playoff run, and he is confident in what Bateman just can bring to the offense this month.
"I believe very dangerous," Jackson said during a press conference on Tuesday. "But we have so many guys — great receivers and great tight ends and great running backs. Everyone can't shine at once. Everyone is going to shine all together.
"He can't get all the flowers he deserves, but to us, he definitely gets his flowers because he is one of the ones."
Overall, Jackson threw one touchdown and three interceptions when targeting Bateman during the regular season. But as mentioned, the two did seem to build formidable chemistry over the late stages of the season.
The Ravens are eyeing a win over the Texans to clinch a spot in the AFC title game for the first time since the 2012 campaign.
