The wounds are still healing for Bills fans after the AFC Championship Game, and Jason Kelce made a comment during the Pro Bowl Games that was way too soon.

NFC wide receiver Malik Nabers of the New York Giants was called short of the end zone on third and goal, which Kelce commented on, saying "We got a Josh Allen."

Pain.

Bills fans will be thinking about the 4th and 1 quarterback sneak in the 4th quarter of the AFC Championship Game that was called short, despite evidence showing otherwise, for years to come. Once again, the Bills fell just short at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs. It's getting excruciatingly familiar.

The conversation over the play wages on, with plenty of talks taking place about the need for the NFL to move to a sensor system in the football instead of relying on the old school chain gang system and spotting the ball by judgement that the league has had in place since the dawn of time.

The technology exists. Whether or not the NFL wants to move past the current status quo in order to move to a more technical and precise method of measurement remains to be seen.

Kelce's comment is a fresh one, but points to the magnitude of the call that was made. For Buffalo fans, the direction forward will be one of turning the page and looking forward to an offseason of roster adjustments that will hopefully lead to the 2025 version of the Buffalo Bills being right back in the thick of things and finally getting over the hump and reaching their first Super Bowl since 1991.
