Josh Allen made an absurd play, which the Buffalo Bills social media team has dubbed "The Lake Effect Lateral," has pretty much been seen by everyone by now. If, for some reason you haven't seen it, I'll embed it below. It might just be the MVP moment for Allen's resume at the end of the season.

It was an unbelievable, veteran, athletic play by both Allen and wide receiver Amari Cooper, who decided to pitch the ball back to Allen after two defenders closed on him. Cooper deserves a ton of credit for the heads up play.

It's just backyard, snow game shenanigans to the highest order. The fact that the pulled this off in an actual NFL game, against an athletic and talented San Francisco 49ers defense, still makes me laugh. This play put Allen in rare air as only the fourth quarterback in NFL history to log a passing touchdown and receiving touchdown on the same play.

Apparently, Allen, joined by wide receivers Keon Coleman and Mack Hollins on the sideline, weren't quite sure how it would be scored. Allen's reaction to the play was so pure and so incredible that it has to be seen.

When asked if he wanted the ball, Allen was adamant — "heck yeah I wanted it." He want on to describe how he and Cooper didn't talk about it, they just made eye contact and Cooper flipped it back to him. After the game, Cooper said "he looked like he wanted the ball, so I gave it to him." Simple as that.

Allen, Hollins, and Coleman were debating on the sidelines whether or not Allen would get credit for a rushing or receiving touchdown. The official ruling was a receiving touchdown, with Allen, snow-covered and smiling, exclaiming "I love football."

Me too, Josh. Me too.
