The Buffalo Bills enter the 2024 offseason roughly $51 million over the salary cap. That said, it is expected that the number will drop.

According to Mike Florio of "Pro Football Talk," the salary cap is expected to be "closer to $250 million" rather than $243 million.

Should this be the case, that is great news for the Bills. Any little bit of cap space will help them as they enter free agency.

Going from $243 million to $250 million would give Buffalo some wiggle room. With the likes of Mitch Morse, Tre'Davious White, Jordan Poyer, and others potentially on the chopping block to save money against the cap, Buffalo may be able to salvage some of that money and keep players around that may otherwise be gone. It would also make it a little easier to get under the cap and have money to spend on impending free agents.
