The Buffalo Bills are licking their wounds and preparing for their upcoming contest against the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football. It's a reunion of sorts as Giants head coach Brian Daboll was formerly the offensive coordinator for the Bills.

Daboll, in part, helped Allen grow as a professional and was there to help him strengthen his abilities and be the best player he could be. While Allen has unheard-of raw talent, Daboll helped Allen blossom into the player he is today.

Apparently, the two still FaceTime quite regularly. While it's just a few words exchanged between the two of them, there is a lot of mutual respect between the two even with Daboll departing and coaching in New Jersey.

Days before the contest, Daboll opened up about Allen, their relationship, and a strong message on what type of player Allen is in this league. It's all love from the former offensive coordinator.

Daboll gushed about the type of player the Bills have in their franchise quarterback and what truly makes him so special, "Josh Allen is an unbelievable player, one of the best in the league. You can put him in any offense and he's going to produce." Daboll continued, "I missed him as a person, we're close. But as a player, he's a heck of a player. Put on any tape, he's exceptional at everything. He can run, but he can throw it. He can throw it wherever he needs to throw it."

The Giants coach then went on to discuss the different players Allen has at his exposal, "He's got significant playmakers in terms of (Stefon) Diggs and (Gabe) Davis who I have familiarity with who are unbelievable players. Dawson Knox, Dalton, they got 3 good runners, their offensive line is intact. He's a special player, one of the best in the league. He makes you better as a play-caller too. He's one of a kind."

Here's hoping Allen continues his dominance and makes Daboll's life miserable on Sunday. The team needs to bounce back in a big way and get the sour taste out of fan's mouths after the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
