Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen very well may be the best player in all of football.

Watching him on Sundays is magical, more often than not pulling off plays that make you stare at your screen in awe, saying, “Josh (expletive) Allen.”

He’s become a global superstar with more endorsements than I can count on both my hands, often appearing during the commercial breaks with a new sponsorship. He’s ascended to one of the very best quarterbacks in league history, a dual-threat nightmare for opposing defensive coordinators.

With the win over New England, a game where the team overcame a 21-point deficit, and Allen was magical with three total touchdowns on the day, Allen found himself rewriting the record books.

Josh Allen makes NFL history

Allen became one of one in NFL history, becoming the only player to have six consecutive seasons with more than 35 total touchdowns. He’s three touchdowns on the season away from becoming the only player to have six consecutive seasons of more than 40 touchdowns.

Allen also became the fourth player in NFL history to record more than 35 offensive touchdowns in at least six career seasons, after only Tom Brady (7), Aaron Rodgers (7), and Drew Brees (6).

He’s that good and deserves all his flowers in the world.

Josh Allen’s touchdowns by season during run

In 2020, Allen threw for 37 touchdowns, added eight rushing scores, and even caught a touchdown, totaling 46. He followed that in 2021 with 36 passing touchdowns and six rushing scores (42). The following year, the 2022 season, he finished with 35 passing touchdowns and seven rushing touchdowns (42).

The production jumped again in 2023 when he totaled 29 passing touchdowns and 16 rushing scores (44). In 2024, Allen added another receiving touchdown, finishing with 28 passing touchdowns, 12 rushing scores, and one receiving score (41). In 2023, he remains three touchdowns away, with 25 passing touchdowns and 12 rushing scores (37).

Bills fans are spoiled, but they’re not taking him for granted even for a second. The Bills Mafia knows how rare this is. They lived through the heartbreak in the 90’s, the drought, and false hope. Now, they get to watch a generational talent rewrite history nearly every time he touches the football.
