The Buffalo Bills have a superstar in quarterback Josh Allen. He’s ascended to one of the very at his position, despite entering the league having his fair share of critics. Those critics haven’t quieted over the years, despite Allen’s play doing more than enough to prove his worth.

Allen joined the league in 2018, the same draft class as quarterback Sam Darnold, Lamar Jackson, Baker Mayfield, and Josh Rosen. Since then, Allen has become one of the faces of the league, walking home with the MVP trophy in 2024 and being in more than a handful of national commercials.

On and off the field, he’s one of one. A recent photo on social media quickly went viral, which is further proof of Allen’s dominance in the league. Once again, without having to even pick up a football, Allen has silenced his haters in a big way, all because of one picture.

Josh Allen is the best quarterback in football since 2020

Since 2020, Allen has done something that no other quarterback in the entire NFL can claim. It’s a testament to his drive to get better every year, and it shows in the stats. Pro Football Focus listed the highest-graded quarterbacks in the league, and Allen falls at No. 1 with a 96.9 grade.

Joe Burrow (96), Patrick Mahomes (94), Tom Brady (93.5), Lamar Jackson (93.3), Matthew Stafford (92.5), Justin Herbert (92.5), and Aaron Rodgers (92.2) round out the list.

Allen has six straight seasons with 39+ touchdowns, five of which were over 40 total touchdowns. He’s not only a dual-threat quarterback, having the most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in NFL history, but he’s a triple threat, logging a handful of receiving touchdowns along the way.

The superstar quarterback is in his prime, with the Super Bowl window firmly open thanks to his efforts. When No. 17 is on the field, no game is fully out of reach.

At this point, the debate over Allen’s greatness feels tired, and the excuses feel recycled. The “yeah, but” crowd keeps moving the goalposts, and Allen keeps clearing them away. Whether it’s a virtual graphic, a national commercial, or another 40-touchdown season, he continues stacking proof.

The numbers say it, the tape says it, the respect around the league says it. If the rest of the NFL hasn’t fully accepted it yet, that’s fine; Allen will continue to keep giving them no choice.
