The Chicago Bears' 2024 schedule is here revealing when and where the Bears will be playing all of their 17 games this upcoming season.
As expected all eyes will be on the new-look Bears heading into 2024 but the team can't afford to get big headed in this league. As the saying goes "any given Sunday."
That being said, the Bears have plenty of games on the 2024 schedule that looks like easy wins to chalk up at this point in the season. However, every year in the NFL, a team is faced with a trap game. A game, in theory, the better team should win but things go a different way. Based on the Bears' 2024 schedule, here are the three games I've identified as potential trap games for the team this season.
1. Tennessee Titans (Week 1)

This was the first game I immediately circled as a trap game for the Bears as soon as the 2024 opponents list was released by the team. The Titans are a feisty group and I think that will continue to be the case even without Mike Vrabel.
The Tennessee Titans are going to be better than anyone will give them credit for if second-year quarterback Will Levis can make the jump. Much like the Bears, this team was overhauled this offseason to help make sure its young quarterback will succeed.
After having a significant trap game win against the Miami Dolphins in 2023 on primetime, I wouldn't rule out the Titans squad having some more surprising victories under its sleeve during the 2024 season, even to start off the season.
2. at Arizona Cardinals (Week 9)

Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals will be looking to get their revenge against the Chicago Bears after falling in Chicago late in the season during a lost season. Now, the Cardinals are expecting to be back as a NFC Wild Card contender in 2023 with Murray healthy and Marvin Harrison Jr. accompanying him on offense.
Having this matchup on a Sunday in Arizona is just the perfect storm for the Bears to fall disappointingly after traveling to the West Coast. This will also be a pivotal matchup for the Offensive Player of the Year race at this point of the season.
However, Bears' quarterback Caleb Williams excelled on the West Coast at USC and could have his teammates ready to go for this matchup. The Bears are also 4-1 against the Cardinals since they moved to Arizona, I could see that finally flipping in 2024.
3. New England Patriots (Week 10)

By Week 10, third overall pick Drake Maye will be more than likely running the offense for the New England Patriots, making this a much more interesting matchup.
Many are not predicting the Patriots to be a good team next season, but I believe people could be underestimating new head coach Jerod Mayo. This could be one that opens a lot of people's eyes about what the Patriots and Maye could truly look like.
A strong running game from the Patriots mixed with hard-nosed defensive play could be enough to put the Pats over the top as long as Maye plays a clean game himself.
