The Chicago Bears' 2024 season has come to an end and ended on a high note after the team walked out of Lambeau Field with a win in Week 18.

While the season ended with high spirits, that's not what we've seen from the team during the previous 10 games that all ended in losses for the Bears. At the end of the day, the Bears' finished with a 5-12 record in 2024 and 1-5 in the NFC North.

It was a tough season for the Bears who finished last in the division for the second time in three seasons. With the season now complete, we can now look ahead to the 2025 season, which is shaping up to be another rough one on paper. Here's which teams the Bears will play in 2025.

2024 Home Opponents

  • Detroit Lions
  • Green Bay Packers
  • Minnesota Vikings
  • Dallas Cowboys
  • New York Giants
  • Cleveland Browns
  • Pittsburgh Steelers
  • New Orleans Saints

2024 Away Opponents

  • Detroit Lions
  • Green Bay Packers
  • Minnesota Vikings
  • Baltimore Ravens
  • Cincinnati Bengals
  • Philadelphia Eagles
  • Washington Commanders
  • San Francisco 49ers
  • Las Vegas Raiders

Observations:

Let's start with the obvious. The NFC North is going to be another bloodbath next season and the Bears will be looking to put up more of a fight. Since general manager Ryan Poles took over in 2022, the Bears are 3-15 against NFC North opponents. The other three teams in the division will be entering 2025 each coming off a double-digit win season and each team reached the postseason.

As for the division pull, the Bears will have to face all four teams in the AFC North and the NFC East. Of those eight teams, four are locked into the postseason in 2024 and three of those games will be on the road. Including a rematch against the Washington Commanders, meaning we get to see the second matchup between the top two picks in the 2024 NFL Draft: Caleb Williams vs. Jayden Daniels.

Overall, the road games will be the worst part of the season for the Bears in 2025. At home, the Bears pulled some favorable matchups but the outcome of the season will come down to how the team performs outside of Soldier Field.

And don't overlook the games against the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers. Both teams had down years in 2024, but both can easily return to form as an NFC juggernaut next season.

While the slate looks daunting for the Bears right now, you never know how things will look once we get to September. And you really still don't know how teams will look until you face them on the field any given week. But, from what we currently know about these 14 teams, 2025 is going to be another tough year for Chicago.
