The Chicago Bears 2025 schedule has been released and we now know all the dates and times for the team's 17 games this upcoming season, including which ones will be on primetime.
Spoiler alert, the league is looking forward to showing off the new Ben Johnson-led Bears in 2025 and the team is looking to prove they finally turned the corner based on all the changes made this offseason.
So, without further ado, let's predict the Bears' 2025 season by going game-by-game through the entire schedule.
Week 1: Bears vs. Vikings – Soldier Field – Monday, Sept. 8th
Bears win 13-10: The first meeting between Caleb Williams and J.J. McCarthy turns out to be a defensive chess match between Dennis Allen and Brian Flores on Monday Night Football. Both these matchups could come down to the wire and I see one of the two being decided by a late field goal once again with the Bears starting out 1-0 under head coach Ben Johnson.
Week 2: Bears at Lions – Ford Field – Sunday, Sept. 14th
Bears lose 34-30: Ben Johnson's first game against his former team turns out to be an all-out slugfest but the Lions are more equipped and experienced to handle such an emotional game. The Bears fall in this one, even coming up short on offense during the final drive to lose the game.
Week 3: Bears vs. Dallas – Soldier Field – Sunday, Sept. 21st
Bears win 34-28: Another high scoring offensive outing but one that should feel much better for the locker room. Not only do the Bears eclipse 30-points again, but they do so against the defense led by their former head coach Matt Eberflus. Dak Prescott will do enough to keep things somewhat close, but the Bears get a much needed morale boost coming off their first loss of the season.
Week 4: Bears at Raiders – Allegiant Stadium – Sunday, Sept. 28th
Bears lose 17-10: A stunner down in Vegas! The Bears could easily underestimate the Raiders in this one and it's not a team you want to overlook. The combo of Geno Smith and Ashton Jeanty will surprise a lot of people and Brock Bowers can give the linebackers a headache in the middle. Every year there's always one game every team loses they probably shouldn't and this could be one for Chicago.
Week 5: BYE
Having such an early bye is always a rough pull. The Bears had a Week 7 bye in 2024 coming off an international game in London, but early bye weeks aren't always bad. Last season, the Kansas City Chiefs had a Week 6 bye and the Philadelphia Eagles had a Week 5 bye, both teams went on to compete in the Super Bowl. Great teams make it work and having an early bye is another chance for the Bears to prove themselves.
Week 6: Bears at Commanders – Northwest Stadium – Monday, October 13th
Bears win 27-24 OT: One of the top rematches people will be looking forward to is set for a primetime slot and I have this one living up to the hype once again. The first meeting between Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels came down to a walk-off Hail Mary after the Bears took a late lead. This time around, the Williams-Daniels duel comes down to the wire yet again, but ending with a walk-off field goal by the Bears in overtime.
Week 7: Bears vs. Saints – Soldier Field – Sunday, October 19th
Bears win 17-3: The Bears offense are off their groove in this one but the defense holds up strong against rookie quarterback Tyler Shough to come away with another home win in a low-scoring affair.
Week 8: Bears at Ravens – M&T Bank Stadium – Sunday, October 26th
Bears lose 38-13: This one could end up being a mid-season blowout loss for the Bears and the true litmus test for how resilient this locker room is. The Ravens are a well-rounded team and a physically imposing offense. Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry can easily have their way against Chicago's defense front while Caleb Williams struggles to move the ball against Baltimore's high-flying secondary.
Week 9: Bears at Bengals – Paycor Stadium – Sunday, November 2nd
Bears lose 32-27: Another tough high-scoring loss against a high powered offense on the road. With a healthy Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins, the Bengals can easily drop 30+ any given week. Defensively, the Bengals have struggled allowing 25+ in eight games last season. The Bears can keep this within striking distance but I see Chicago falling short once again.
Week 10: Bears vs. Giants – Soldier Field – Sunday, Nov. 9th
Bears win 42-10: I see this being the easiest game on the schedule for the Bears and a bounce-back opportunity, regardless of who's starting at quarterback at this point in the season for the Giants. New York made some significant upgrades on defense this offseason but it won't be enough to stop an offensive explosion. Fun fact, this would be the most points scored in a game by the Bears since Week 4 of the 2018 season.
Week 11: Bears at Vikings – U.S. Bank Stadium – Sunday, November 16th
Bears win 20-10: A clean sweep this time for the Bears against the Vikings, who swept the Chicago last season. Once again it's dependent on the play of the defense coming out on top against the young quarterbacks, but either way I see the Bears squeaking out both games against Minnesota with Caleb Williams having a much improved performance against Brian Flores in the second meeting of 2025.
Week 12: Bears vs. Steelers – Soldier Field – Sunday, November 23rd
Bears lose 28-24: Once again the Boogeyman strikes against the Bears. By this point, we are all expecting Aaron Rodgers to sign with the Steelers and lead the team in 2025. And the Bears will learn when Rodgers said he "owns the Bears" he means it by pulling off some vintage Rodgers-Magic late to steal win in front of the Bears fans.
Week 13: Bears at Eagles – Lincoln Financial Field – Friday, Nov. 28th (Black Friday)
Bears lose 34-20: Philadelphia will easily be the toughest opponent for the Bears in 2025 going up against the reigning Super Bowl Champs that some how got even better this offseason, not to mention this being on the road. Even still, the Bears hold up better than many would imagine in this one but still fall by two scores.
Week 14: Bears at Packers – Lambeau Field – Sunday, Dec. 7th
Bears lose 28-14: The undefeated streak ends at one for Caleb Williams at Lambeau Field. Unlike last time, the Packers will have much more to play for against the Bears, leading to a sizable victory for Jordan Love and the Packers offense. Ben Johnson's hopes of continuing to beat Matt LaFleur twice a year won't happen in his first season coaching with the Bears in Chicago.
Week 15: Bears at Browns – Huntington Bank Field – Sunday, Dec. 14th
Bears win 35-10: The Bears come out swinging in this one after dropping three straight games. I'll even go a step further and predict Caleb Williams throws 4 touchdowns to 4 different targets. This late in the season, this could even be a game against Shedeur Sanders starting at quarterback, which would make things interesting.
Week 16: Bears vs. Packers – Soldier Field – Saturday, Dec. 20
Bears win 21-17: The Bears stole one in Lambeau to cap off the 2024 season and finally defeat the dreaded Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field. I see these two splitting the series again in 2025 but this time the Bears finally pull off a victory over Green Bay on the home field in a nail-biting finish on national television.
Week 17: Bears at 49ers – Levi's Stadium – Sunday, Dec. 28th
Bears lose 31-17: San Francisco could be a tough matchup at this point in the season, especially on the road. Kyle Shanahan's offense will be firing on all cylinders in this one, proving to be too much for Ben Johnson's unit to keep up with.
Week 18: Bears vs. Lions – Soldier Field – Sat/Sun, Jan. 3rd/4th
Bears win 24-21: The second matchup between the Bears and Lions doesn't quite live up to the scoring hype as the first one, but it's still a competitive one that comes down to the wire. This time, the Bears learn from their mistakes and are ready for the moment, coming away with a 3-point win but ultimately it's another meaningless Week 18 win against a division rival to close out the season.
Bears' Final Record: 9-8 (missed playoffs)
Not seeing the Bears make the playoffs for the fifth consecutive season looks demoralizing but a four-win increase in the first season under Ben Johnson will be an encouraging sight.
Chicago has a tough schedule and 2025 needs to be about proving they can hang with some top-level teams. These predictions show that and prove this team still needs a few pieces to the puzzle before turning into a true playoff contender.
