The Chicago Bears were on the wrong side of another crushing outcome in Week 12 but the majority of the talk has been about the performance of the team's rookie quarterback Caleb Williams.

Against the Minnesota Vikings, Williams was exceptional for the second week in a row, headlined by two scoring drives under the final two minutes to force overtime.

Unfortunately, for the second consecutive week, Williams' heroics weren't enough for the Bears to come out on top. But more prominent people are taking note of what Williams is doing in Chicago.

After the game, Vikings' head coach Kevin O'Connell met up with Williams in the middle of the field after the game to offer support and respect for the young quarterback. While speaking to the media, Williams shared what O'Connell had to say.

"Yeah, his message just to keep going," Williams said. "Hell of a player, keep going. Way to fight. He said it sucks that he has to get me for a while. But, you know, excited to see me out there fighting and leading these guys."

While speaking with the Vikings' reporters after the game, O'Connell offered even more high praise for Williams' performance against his team.

"He played his tail off," O'Connell said of Williams. "I think the world of him. He just continues to get better and better. It's going to be a challenge, we're going to have to play as consistently as possible and disciplined as possible against him as he continues to grow. I look forward to the challenge of competing against him because he's going to be a really good player."

With the way O'Connell is coaching his team in Minnesota and the way Williams is playing in Chicago, this will be the first of many games between these two. In fact, the two will face off again in three weeks. Williams had similar praise and mutual respect for the Vikings' head coach.

"I have a few old teammates over there that talk about him and they love him," Williams added. "I met him at the draft and all these different things. When somebody comes over to you that's having guys out there balling, and he's been a great coach so far, and you hear his encouraging words, those are important."

O'Connell is now the latest opposing coach to come out and offer support for the Bears' quarterback after the game and it seems to be a common trend each week.

Other head coaches around the league are beginning to take notice of what Williams can become at the next level and they have every reason to be afraid of his potential. Williams has the ability to take over the NFL with the Bears if his career is managed the right way going forward.
