While it might be too early to make predictions for the 2023 season, Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet is making sure everyone knows which fan base reigns supreme.
Kmet has been in Chicago for three seasons now and has witnessed the highs and lows. The Bears made the playoffs in his rookie season and are coming off a season in which the team held the worst record in football.
Kmet has seen it all in Chicago. Though the fans aren’t always in high spirits, there is no questioning their passion. Kmet joined NFL Network to describe just what it’s like to play in front of a home crowd at Soldier Field.
“You hear them loud. They are very passionate. They are the best fanbase in the world,” Kmet said.
Kmet is an Illinois native and grew up in Chicago as a Bears fan. He’s been a part of this fan base and knows how they can get behind a winning product.
Kmet and the Bears will have an opportunity to once again bring the fan base to its feet in 2023. The Bears have added plenty of weapons on offense to pair with Justin Fields in order to create a breakout season for the quarterback entering his third year.
If the Bears offense can hit the ground running with its new pieces early in the year, the fan base will have an opportunity to lend their support to a team capable of winning a watered down NFC North.
