The NFL’s biggest question over the next couple of months is centered around what the Chicago Bears will elect to do with the No. 1 overall pick in the draft.
There have been rumors galore, some going as far as listing Bears QB Justin Fields as a potential trade piece. While fans shouldn’t believe just anything they see on the internet, there is reason for excitement over the latest report.
Heavy.com’s Matt Lombardo reports that there is a feeling across the NFL that Bears general manager Ryan Poles could trade back in the draft not once, but twice. Not only would the Bears come out of this potential scenario with a King’s ransom, but Lombardo reports that Chicago could still come away with their desired draft target.
Leading up to the draft there will be plenty of speculation surrounding Chicago's decision. That being said, if Poles can architect this master plan, the Bears would be set up for success for years to come.
