The Chicago Bears showed off their new identity once again during their 30-12 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7, and it's starting to look reminiscent to how a Bears team should play.

The team dominated the trenches have dominated the trenches over the past few weeks, sparking hope in the young team. The Bears have rushed for 160+ yards as an offense in four straight games, and have won two of their last three games after starting the season 0-4.

In Week 7's win, the Bears rushed for 173 yards and held the Raiders to just 39 yards on the ground. That's the kind of production that can win football games and the Bears are starting to figure it out.

"I think there's multiple ways to win," Bears head coach Matt Eberflus said after the game on Sunday. "But we believe in running the ball, we really do because of where we live and where we play football here in Chicago. And I think that's an important part of it. And stopping the run is also very, very important to us. That's always going to be something that we want to do, you don't have to do it every game, but it's something that's good for us."

In the Bears two wins of the season, the team's offense has totaled 351 rushing yards and held opposing offenses to a combined 68 yards rushing on defense. The winning recipe has presented itself to the Bears and they are finally playing into it.

The Bears defense has also turned the corner over the past few games. From Weeks 1-4, the Bears allowed 34.3 points per game. That number has now dropped to 17.0 over the last three games.

"We're really proud of the guys the last three weeks," Eberflus added. "We've held [opposing offenses to] four touchdowns over the last three weeks. We've done a good job on third down in the last three weeks. So, we got to continue to do that. And the rushing yards have been really had been down in the last three or four weeks too. So, we got to do a really good job of that coming up. It's always a formula for good winning football."

The Bears will look to keep the momentum going in Week 8 against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night Football. Rookie quarterback Tyson Bagent is expected to once again start for the Bears in what will be his first career road and primetime start.

The team's offense and running game could also expect a major boost this week with running back Roschon Johnson expecting to return from his Week 5 concussion. Running back D'Onta Foreman has carried the load for the offense over the last two games totaling 187 scrimmage yards and three scrimmage touchdowns.
