The Chicago Bears have released their final injury report leading up to Sunday's Week 9 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.

The Bears have officially ruled out four players, including two defensive starters for the NFC contest.

The team will enter into the weekend with one player listed as questionable, and quarterback Justin Fields has officially been listed as doubtful.

Based on how it sounded at practice, the team should expect to be without Fields once again despite his current status. That means undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent will be making his third consecutive start.

Here's a look at the final injury report for the Bears:

Safety Jaquan Brisker (concussion) and linebacker Tremaine Edmunds (knee) have officially been ruled out entering into the weekend. Brisker missed last week's game with the same issue that has since been described as a concussion.

Edmunds left the Bears Week 8 game against the Los Angeles Chargers with his knee injury and didn't return. Edmunds will be considered week-to-week going forward as he progresses with the injury. Linebacker Jack Sanborn played in Edmunds place in Week 8 and is expected to start for the team on Sunday.

"Sanborn is our guy that's played a lot in that position," head coach Matt Eberflus said on Friday. "He's looked good in that position in the past. He's got a lot of experience there and he played well for us last year. So, we expect to see him play."

Cornerback Terell Smith will be missing his fourth consecutive game as he continues to battle mononucleosis.

As for the offense, offensive lineman Nate Davis has also been ruled out with an ankle injury and left tackle Braxton Jones will be listed as questionable with a neck injury. The Bears left tackle hasn't appeared since Week 2 after landing on the injured reserve.

The Bears will have safety Eddie Jackson back in the secondary against the Saints after he missed the last two games with a nagging foot injury.

"Eddie will start," Eberflus said. "We're excited about where he is and he had a good week of practice. Everybody heals differently and he was working through it and no one wants to play more than him. He worked through it and he's a good spot now."
