The Chicago Bears — who are still are gearing up for their Thursday night clash with the Washington Commanders — received some good news on the injury front today.

Jaylon Johnson last played in Week Two against the Green Bay Packers, but has since not suited up due to a quad injury.

Chicago has missed him greatly during the time he's been out and have been wondering when he'd be able to get on the field once again.

Fortunately, that time appears to be coming soon, after he was once again listed as a full participant in practice for the second straight day, granted it was on a walkthrough basis.

If Johnson plays — and that if is looking more like a when — then the Bears will receive a big-time boost in their secondary.

The Commanders won't scare you offensively, but they do possess a respectable amount of weapons at receiver. Having Johnson back will help combat that, something that should do wonders in the Bears' pursuit of their third win of the season.
