The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers go together like oil and vinegar. So when it was announced that Justin Fields and Jordan Love will be working together this offseason, Bears fans were understandably disappointed.
Fansided’s Daniel Greenberg reports that Fields, Love and Deshaun Watson will be holding a football camp in France this week. While Bears fans could probably do without their star player fraternizing with the enemy, players in today’s game don’t let on-field rivalries get in the way of their relationships off the field.
So, why Fields, Love and Watson? That seems like the most random quarterback trio one could possibly assemble. It turns out that the common denominator between these three is their agent, David Mulugheta.
These three quarterbacks, who also share a similar playing style, will be working alongside each other to sharpen their skills ahead of training camp. Though they’ll all be pulling in the same direction this week, perhaps Fields can return with some tips for his defense after taking note of Love’s tendencies across the pond.
