Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Poles hit the podium at the NFL’s Scouting Combine on Tuesday and, to no surprise, all of the talk centered around the team’s No. 1 overall pick.

Many expect the Bears to end up dealing the pick, but what Chicago could get in return is still a mystery. That being said, Poles made his expectations for potential trade partners crystal clear in Indianapolis.

“It just depends how far back. But year, we need a lot, and that gives us more opportunity to bring in more players. It’s a good situation to be in for where our club is.”

Couple the intriguing quarterback talent with a handful of teams desperate for a signal caller and the Bears should come out of a potential trade with a king’s ransom.

Chicago isn’t one star prospect away from contending in the NFC North. But if the Bears can fall back a few spots and still get their guy while hauling in a ridiculous supply of draft capital, Chicago will likely walk away as the draft’s biggest winner.
