The Chicago Bears only have one selection remaining in the 2024 NFL Draft, the 122nd overall pick in the fourth round early on Day 3.

The Bears have heavily focused on the offense with their first three picks of the draft, coming away with Caleb Williams, Rome Odunze, and Kiran Amegadjie.

Heading into Day 3, the Bears still have some significant needs on the defensive line to address, or the team could look to strengthen some primer positions with their final pick of the draft. Here's three top names still available the Bears should consider.

DE Austin Booker

The Bears have done extensive research on the edge rushing class but have passed on the position each of the last two times they were on the clock. In the first round, the Bears had their pick of the best defensive player and in the third round, top edge rushers such as Adisa Isaac were still left on the board.

This has started to become more of a want than a need for the roster but adding a significant pass rusher to play opposite Montez Sweat is too hard to pass up.

One player still on the board heading into Day 3 whom the Bears have expressed interest in is Kansas edge rusher Austin Booker. Booker had a late Top-30 visit with the Bears and had 8.0 sacks during his final collegiate season.

TE Ja'Tavion Sanders

This doesn’t seem like such a major priority for the Bears considering the team already has Cole Kmet and Gerald Everett at tight end on the roster. However, offensive coordinator Shane Waldron loves using 3-TE sets and there's a top name out there.

The Bears haven’t met with Texas tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders since the NFL Scouting Combine and the interest might have faded after the team signed Everett in free agency. However, if there's still a hint of intrigue, the Bears should consider him.

Sanders is an athletic beast and was used in a multi-dimensional role for the Longhorn's offense. The Athletic's Dane Brugler compared Sanders to Everett due to his ability to box out defenders and he had 99 receptions, 1,295 yards, and 7 touchdowns during his three seasons at Texas. He would be a beast for the Bears' offense and could eventually take Everett’s place long-term.

CB Nehemiah Pritchett

Another position the Bears are relatively set at, but the team still did some significant research on the cornerback class. Auburn's Nehemiah Pritchett is one player in particular the Bears brought in for a visit who will still be on the board on Day 3.

I'm always in favor of drafting a cornerback every year no matter what and Pritchett would perfectly fit into the room that already features Jaylon Johnson, Kyler Gordon, Tyrique Stevenson, and Terell Smith.

Pritchett's experience in former defensive coordinator Ron Roberts’ zone scheme while allow him to have an easy transition into Matt Eberflus' zone scheme. Pritchett had 29 pass deflections in his career allowed a 46.2 completion percentage in 2023.
