As in the next week.
One of Chicago's biggest team needs this offseason is at the wide receiver position.
Allen Robinson is expected to depart in free agency, leaving Darnell Mooney as the team's only legitimate starting wide receiver.
Mooney is talented and I think he has a high ceiling. But Bears quarterback Justin Fields needs another target he can count on in the passing game.
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper, who is expected to be released before March 20, would be a perfect option for the Bears to acquire via trade.

I'm sure someone is asking why would Chicago trade for Cooper if the Cowboys are going to release him.
I think that's fairly easy to answer — so they don't miss on Cooper if he hits the open market.
Dallas is going to end up waiting until the start of free agency (next week) — or March 20 (when Cooper's salary becomes guaranteed) — to release Cooper. The Cowboys would love to get something for the former Alabama wide receiver.
The Bears could offer a low-round draft pick — a sixth or seventh-round pick — to get Cooper before he's released. Cooper is worth way more than that. It would definitely be a steal for Chicago (remember, Dallas gave up a first-round pick in late 2018 for Cooper).
Not only would Cooper give Fields another strong option in the passing game, but he could also make the Bears' offense better just by being on the field.
This past season, Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott's passer rating was 108 with Cooper on the field and 83.1 without Cooper on the field.
That sounds like the type of player the Bears need in Chicago.
