Frustrations reached a breaking point in Chicago following an embarrassing Thanksgiving loss to the Detroit Lions that led to the dismissal of head coach Matt Eberflus.

On Sunday, it was reported that Bears' cornerback Jaylon Johnson "erupted in frustration" in the locker room after the loss with the frustrations aimed at the team's former head coach.

Rightfully so, after Eberflus' late game decision-making led to yet another loss for the Bears, days after Johnson vocally expressed issue with the team's losing streak.

For the first time since firing Eberflus, we finally got to hear from one of the players in wide receiver DJ Moore, who appeared on the Mully & Haugh Show on 670 The Score Monday morning.

Moore was asked specifically about the reports regarding Johnson's locker room explosion and defended his teammate's actions.

"It's not uncommon for a vet to go off," Moore explained. "I don't know all the details behind what Jaylon was saying, because I couldn't even barely make out what he was saying from the training room, but he was local all year on different topics. He just stepped up to be a leader after that game. He thought we should have won and he said what he said."

As for the late game decision-making to not call a timeout leading up to the final play as time expired, Moore also took issue with how the situation was handled.

"We could've just taken the timeout and regrouped, and gotten two plays off if that was the case," Moore added. "My view, I feel like the coach has got to call a timeout and regroup us."

The decision obviously didn't sit well in the locker room and was the final straw that forced the organization to make this decision.

"As the season was going, you just kind of figured that was going to happen. Thursday at the end of the game was the last straw, I feel like," Moore said. "They did it. Now we got (Thomas Brown) as the interim head coach, and we're going to go out there and play for him."

The other decision to promote Brown as the interim head coach, his second promotion in the span of a month, was clearly one the players support going into the final five games of the regular season.
