The Chicago Bears have had their fair share of head coaches over the last couple of decades. One of them just grabbed a promotion at his new organization.
Today, the Kansas City Chiefs announced that Matt Nagy is their new offensive coordinator.
Nagy spent four years in Chicago as the Bears HC. That stint was from 2018-2021.
Nagy had a 34-31 record as the Bears head coach. It was a bit of a tumultuous tenure as his offense saw plenty of inconsistencies.
That being said, the Chiefs have enjoyed having Nagy as an offensive assistant since he was fired in Chicago. He's spent the past two seasons with the Chiefs, and now, he has gotten a promotion since former OC Eric Bieniemy took the OC job in Washington.
Nagy was actually the OC in KC from 2016-2017, so this will be his second stint with the team at that position.
Bears fans will surely be intrigued to see how their offense looks going forward.
