The Chicago Bears will potentially have three players back against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday Night Football in Week 10.

Running back Khalil Herbert, wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown and defensive back Josh Blackwell are all eligible to return from the injured reserve this week.

Herbert still ranks second on the team with 272 rushing yards despite missing the last four weeks of the season. D'Onta Foreman has totaled 271 rushing yards as the team's starter since Herbert was placed on the injured reserve.

Herbert suffered an ankle injury in Week 5 against the Washington Commanders that forced him to miss the last four weeks of the season. The Bears offense will be glad to have their starting back on Thursday if he's able to suit back up on the short week.

St. Brown was placed on the injured reserve the same day as Herbert with a nagging hamstring injury. The four weeks off surely helped the Bears #3 wide receiver heal correctly from the injury that has caused lingering issues for multiple players when handled incorrectly.

As for Blackwell, the second-year defensive back hasn't played since Week 3's loss to the Kanas City Chiefs. Blackwell was also placed on the injured reserve with a hamstring injury that he suffered in Week 2. Blackwell attempted to play the following week but left the game early before being shut down. The team's slot cornerback will add some much needed depth to the secondary once he returns.

Bears head coach Matt Eberflus addressed the status off all three players and their expectations entering the short week while speaking with the media on Monday.

"Herbert and EQ and Blackwell I believe are all eligible to open up their window and we're discussing that later today to figure that out," Eberflus said.

Given the short week, it'll be unlikely to see the Bears reactivate the three players back to the active roster by Thursday's game. However, the Bears recently reactivated offensive lineman Teven Jenkins back in Week 5 leading up to their Thursday night game against the Washington Commanders and allowed him to play. Perhaps we could see the same decision made once again.
