The Bears have done a great job adding talent in all phases of the roster. After selecting offensive tackle Darnell Wright in the first round, the team made three-straight defensive picks.
After the run on defense, the Bears took another offensive weapon in Roschon Johnson. Johnson was the backup to star Bijan Robinson, and could immediately split carried with D'Onta Foreman and Khalil Herbert.
However, there might not be anybody happier to have been drafted by the Bears than the player took at No. 133.
Tyler Scott was the Bears' second fourth-round selection. Scott had a productive 2022 season at Cincinnati, where he collected 54 catches for 899 yards and nine touchdowns.
Upon news of his selection, Scott took to Twitter to react.
Scott described the Bears as "exactly who he wanted" to draft him all along. Scott tagged Justin Fields in the tweet, perhaps indicating that Fields is a major factor in Scott wanting to play in Chicago.
The speedy receiver will join a completely overhauled receiver room in Chicago. Scott likely fits in the slot with his slender frame weighing around 170 pounds. Scott can be used in gadget plays as well due to his experience playing running back in high school.
It is a pleasant sight to see a player actively want to play in Chicago. Perhaps this can be called "The Justin Fields Effect."
