The Chicago Bears have undergone a roster makeover this off-season. Both sides of the ball will have multiple new starters in 2023.

DJ Moore, Nate Davis, and D'Onta Foreman were added to the offense, while Tremaine Edmunds, TJ Edwards, and DeMarcus Walker were added to the defense.

One former Bear recently shared his thoughts on the DJ Moore addition.

Greg Olsen was selected by the Chicago Bears in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft. The former Miami Hurricane had a few solid seasons in Chicago before breaking out with the Carolina Panthers. Olsen last played in 2020 and finished his career as a three-time Pro Bowler.

Olsen is loved in Chicago and frequently appears on the radio there. While appearing on ESPN 1000 on Monday, Olsen shared his thoughts on Moore. Olsen and Moore were teammates in Carolina for two seasons, and the former tight end had nothing but good things to say about his former cohort.

"DJ Moore is one of the best dudes I have ever played with," proclaimed Olsen. "A great teammate. A hard worker."

That quote will make Justin Fields happy to have Moore in Chicago.

Moore was included in the trade that netted the Panthers the No. 1 pick, which turned into Bryce Young. The Bears received the star receiver and a package of picks.

The Bears had possibly the worst wide receiver room in the league in 2022, but that should not be the case anymore. Moore joins a room that includes Chase Claypool, Darnell Mooney, and talented rookie Tyler Scott.
