Every player may not be fully healthy, but virtually every player for the Cincinnati Bengals practiced Friday afternoon.
Only reserve defensive tackle Jay Tufele didn't participate in Cincinnati's indoor practice session to escape the light rain from a rainy day.
The two players who didn't practice yesterday, Chidobe Awuzie (illness) and edge defender Trey Hendrickson (rest), returned Friday while Tufele was absent. The likes of wide receiver Tee Higgins (ankle/hamstring), cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt (quad), linebacker Logan Wilson (ankle) and quarterback Jake Browning (wrist) all practiced.
Let's dive into that Browning injury, shall we? Browning claimed to have had wrist cramps during his first career start last Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The injury was obviously not a major one, although it is interesting that the team has included him in the following two injury reports. This would indicate the team is treating it like an official injury, and he's receiving official treatment.
Browning is still likely to be listed on Saturday's final injury report, but all indications have him suiting up Monday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Another notable development is Higgins practicing fully for the first time. This bodes well for him suiting up this week.
