The Cincinnati Bengals are a team that thrives on being disrespected.

Whether it's the NFL selling tickets for a playoff matchup that doesn't include the Bengals (better send those refunds) or just general disrespect from the national media, Cincinnati players and coaches always seem to have a chip on their shoulders.

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said during the playoffs last season that he'll search every inch of the internet to find ways to motivate his team.

Taylor won't have to search hard this offseason to find the motivation he's looking for. That's because former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie served up some motivation on a platter this past week.

McKenzie, who is now with the Indianapolis Colts, appeared on the "Go Long" podcast recently and he suggested that Cincinnati's 27-10 win against the Bills (which was played in Buffalo) in the divisional round of the playoffs last season would have gone differently if the two franchises had played in a dome.

"If we were in a dome, it would have been a totally different game," said McKenzie.

"The Bengals ran basic routes, maybe we should've did that, ran basic routes," added McKenzie. "Like out routes, go balls, you know, instead of running routes that you have to be going lateral or coming back to the football, or turning and running curls and things like that."

Bengals superstar wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase responded to McKenzie's comments and offered a perfect response.

Chase pointed out that Cincinnati's game against the Bills in the playoffs this past season was his first time ever playing in the snow.

McKenzie may not play for the Bills anymore, but he might have put his old team at a disadvantage for their Week 9 matchup against the Bengals. Cincinnati will absolutely be using his comments as motivation when they take on the Bills later this season in a key AFC showdown.
