The Cincinnati Bengals lost on the last play of the game to the Houston Texans, and they may've experienced another big loss just moments before.

Edge defender Trey Hendrickson was taken down after the whistle was blown following Noah Brown's 22-yard reception that got the Texans into clear field goal range. A Texans player fell into Hendrickson's knee, causing the two-time Pro Bowler to exit the game with the help of training staff.

Here's what we know, and don't know, about Hendrickson's injury.

Head coach Zac Taylor couldn't give an answer as to what Hendrickson's injury was, since it happened so late in the game.

"I don't know yet," Taylor said during his post-game presser. "It was his last play out there so, remains to be seen."

Per Pro Football Network's Jay Morrison, Hendrickson was seen entering the Bengals' MRI room to get his knee checked out.

AN MRI wouldn't confirm any major news initially, but it's still notable that it Hendrickson underwent one right after the game.

Later on, Hendrickson was seen walking around the Bengals' locker room with no notable limp.

Whatever it ends up being, it couldn't have come at a worse time. The Bengals are set to face the AFC North-leading Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football. If they have to do so without both of their starting edge defenders, it's going to be tough to stop Baltimore's offense at home.
