The Cincinnati Bengals' offense showed signs of life on their third drive against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Big receptions from Ja'Marr Chase, Trenton Irwin, and Tanner Hudson led to a powerful six-yard touchdown run from Joe Mixon.
Mixon and his teammates celebrated accordingly, including left tackle Orlando Brown Jr., who had an emphatic message to the camera (Warning: Mild profanity).
"J*CK*SS!"
So many questions and so few answers. The main ones being: Who's the intended recipient of this expletive? Was it planned all along? Did Brown just remember someone who slighted him or Mixon?
Who's the J*CK*SS? Why did he or she catch a stray on national television? We may never know, or maybe Brown will end up sharing part of the story.
After a week of negativity surrounding the team following a disappointing third-straight loss, it's refreshing to see the Bengals let loose and celebrate the individual victories. Mixon finished the first half with two touchdowns, and Zac Taylor's play-calling has made Jake Browning look like a competent starter during the second quarter. We'll see if it holds for another 30 minutes.
