Bengals Injury Report: Possible replacement for injured starter goes full as Green Bay deals with new injury

Cincinnati is monitoring a few of its starters and an offensive lineman who could return this week.

The Cincinnati Bengals have are still working in Joe Flacco before their Week 6 game against the Green Bay Packers, and both teams have several injuries to monitor before the end of the week.

Observations

  • Left guard Dylan Fairchild (knee) was once again a DNP with his knee injury he suffered against the Detroit Lions. Fairchild dressed for practice but did not participate with the rest of the team.
  • Right guard Lucas Patrick (calf) went full for the first time since being designated to return from the Reserve/Injured list earlier in the week. This is a positive development for him to be activated to the roster before Sunday’s game, which would give the offense depth or a replacement for Fairchild.
  • Tight end Drew Sample (ankle) went limited after he missed Wednesday’s practice entirely. Defensive end Shemar Stewart (ankle) practiced went limited again.

  • Offensive tackle Anthony Belton (ankle) and defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt (knee) remain out of practice for Green Bay. OT Rasheed Walker (quad) was downgraded to DNP after being limited Wednesday.
  • Kicker Brandon McManus (right quad) suffered his injury in practice Wednesday and the Packers hosted tryouts for two kickers Thursday.
