The Cincinnati Bengals are still looking for a win at home this season and have the Las Vegas Raiders up next today. Let's see who will NOT suit up in today's game.

Here are the Bengals' Week 9 inactives

  • OT Orlando Brown Jr.
  • WR Jermaine Burton
  • WR Tee Higgins
  • WR Charlie Jones
  • TE Tanner McLachlan
  • RB Zack Moss
  • DT Jay Tufele

Brown, Higgins, and Moss were all originally listed as doubtful on Friday's injury report. The team then declared Moss as out early Sunday morning and the belief is he's set to miss extended time now.

Jones is dealing with a groin injury and was listed as questionable and is one of three wideouts who won't play today along with Higgins and Jermaine Burton, who's a healthy scratch.

Why isn't Jermaine Burton playing vs Raiders?

Burton was not on the injury report this week and was slated to play more with Higgins expected to be out. Why he is a healthy scratch isn't officially known at this time, but the team will address the reasoning after the game.

Burton was one of Cincinnati’s third-round picks this year, but he hasn't played very much this season. He played a season-high 24 snaps last week with Higgins out.

Whatever the reasoning is, Burton not playing today is a really bad sign for him and the offense will have to figure out other ways to be explosive. Ja'Marr Chase, Trenton Irwin, and Andrei Iosivas will start with Kendric Pryor, who was elevated off the practice squad, will be the first receiver off the bench.
