Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase hurt his back during last Sunday's win over the Buffalo Bills, and it will likely alter his lead up to this Sunday's game against the Houston Texans.

Head coach Zac Taylor told media members Wednesday afternoon that Chase is still working through it, and his participation in practice may be affected.

"He's sore, he'll be limited if he does anything today," Taylor said of Chase. "We'll work through the week to see where he's at."

Chase fell hard on his back in the second half of Cincinnati's 24-18 win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football. He managed to play through the pain and soreness, but felt the repercussions the next day. He told reporters of his soreness "got worse as the game went on" Monday afternoon following the win.

It wouldn't be surprising to see Chase take Wednesday's practice off and suit up for Thursday and Friday, just to give him an added day of rest to heal up as much as possible.
