The 2023 NFL Draft is in the books, but so many college players are still looking for opportunities in the league. That's where college free agency comes into play, a chance for hundreds of NFL hopefuls to earn their place.
For the Cincinnati Bengals, around a dozen or so undrafted free agents are signed to the roster every single year. This year, the team had room for 15 after the conclusion of the draft.
Follow along as we update the undrafted players signing with the Bengals.

Kirkland was the No. 19 guard prospect according to The Athletic's Dane Brugler. A sixth-year senior out of Washington, he started 49 games at four different positions for the Huskies, with the majority of them at right guard. Pro Football Focus charted him allowing zero pressures in 2022.
Brooks played both safety spots for Tulane during his five years at the program, but was primarily a free safety. He ended up with nine career interceptions for the Green Wave.
Heyward, a fifth-year senior as well, was the No. 22 linebacker on Brugler's board. He was a team captain in 2022 and ran a 4.53 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine after measuring in at 6'3" and 235 pounds. He's also the cousin of Steelers' All-Pro and Bengals rival, Cam Heyward of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Tyler is one of the shortest players in the draft at 5'7 5/8" and is pretty dense for his height at 205 pounds. He ended up with the Aggies after three years at Oregon State and immediately produced. He rushed for 2,018 yards and 14 touchdowns over the last two seasons.
Hippenhammer has one of the coolest last names I've ever heard, but more importantly was originally at Penn State before playing the final three years of his collegiate career an hour north of Cincinnati at Miami University. He racked up 1,578 yards and 14 touchdowns during his final two years for the Redhawks.
Maxwell was a two-time All-American pass rusher at the defensive tackle spot for Chattanooga. He accumulated an absurd 55.5 career tackles for loss and 37.5 sacks in his five years of playing. He also repped 30 on the bench press during the pre-draft process.
Saylors is another another productive college running back. He rushed for 1,318 yards and 15 touchdowns last year for Eastern Tennessee State, forcing 67 missed tackles in the process. The Bengals gave him a $10,000 signing bonus, which is notable.
Jackson is indeed the nephew of one Bo Jackson, so you know the bloodlines are insane. His most productive year came in 2021, posting 527 yards and his lone career touchdown with the Tigers.
Trahan is the first tight end the Bengals have added in any capacity since re-signing Drew Sample two weeks prior to the draft. He played Houston, where Bengals TE coach James' Casey coached prior to being hired by Cincinnati in 2019. He had four years of consistent production for the Cougars, topping out at 398 yards in 2021.
Moody is an experienced player out of Alabama, he appeared in 65 career games for the Crimson Tide, and logged over 800 snaps on special teams. He also played through multiple injuries last year, including a torn labrum.
