Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow made a comment on Wednesday that should have the rest of the AFC concerned.
While speaking with reporters on Wednesday, Burrow pointed out that he thinks the Bengals' offense still has "another level" it can get to this season.
After a slow start to the 2022 season, the Bengals are looking like the team that made it to the Super Bowl last season.
Cincinnati is currently riding a five-game winning streak (which includes a win against the Kansas City Chiefs). The Bengals are averaging 32 points per game during that winning streak.
I think it's safe to say that Cincy's offense is clicking right now. Burrow, however, thinks it can be better. And if there's one thing we know about Burrow, it's that he delivers on what he says. He's a confident guy and that confidence comes across as genuine because he delivers.
The Bengals don't have the best record in the NFL. They don't even have the best record in the AFC. But they look like the most dangerous team in the NFL right now.
There isn't a better time of year to start getting hot than in December. And it sounds like Cincinnati is just getting started. The Bengals are going to be a team no one wants to see in January.
