The Cincinnati Bengals and the Buffalo Bills will play this week in what should be the best Monday Night Football game of the season.

Cincinnati can clinch the AFC North if they beat the Bills and if the Baltimore Ravens lose to the resurgent Pittsburgh Steelers.

Buffalo, meanwhile, can clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC and a first-round bye with a win against the Bengals and a loss by the Kansas City Chiefs (KC plays the Denver Broncos this week).

Suffice it to say, both teams have a lot to play for this week.

ESPN's Football Power Index simulation, however, only thinks one team will show up in Cincy on Monday night.

And it's not the Bengals.

ESPN's simulation has the Bills winning 37-9 against the Bengals on Monday night.

Since this is a simulation and not someone's opinion, there's no explanation for the predicted blowout win for the Bills.

It's certainly a bizarre prediction considering how hot the Bengals have been in recent weeks (Cincy has won seven games in a row). Buffalo has been hot as well — they're currently riding a six-game winning streak — but this still seems like a strange score prediction — Cincy has shown in the second half of the season that they're as good as any team in the NFL.

We'll see how it plays out on Monday night. I think this is a true toss-up game that could go either way. But I don't think we'll see either team win by nearly 30 points. This game will likely come down to who has the ball last.
