Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is almost certainly going through a gauntlet of emotions this week.
For the second time in his four-year NFL career, Burrow won't be on the field for the Bengals' final stretch of the season. The former LSU star suffered a wrist injury in Cincinnati's loss to the Baltimore Ravens last week that will sideline him for the rest of the year.
As a rookie in 2020, Burrow suffered a torn ACL that forced him to miss the Bengals' final six games of the season (Burrow will miss the final seven games this season).
The superstar quarterback took to Instagram on Thanksgiving Day to post a message, writing that he's "thankful for the adversity".

It's gotta be tough to keep a positive outlook after suffering a second season-ending injury in three years — especially considering the calf injury that impacted Burrow during the first few games of the 2023 season.
But Burrow is finding a way to keep that positive outlook. While it will undoubtedly be tough for Burrow to watch from the sidelines, he'll be doing all he can to help the Bengals find success the rest of the season while recovering from his wrist injury.
