The Cincinnati Bengals had one constant for almost a decade and a half, and that was punter Kevin Huber.

In 2009, Huber was taken in the fifth round, and his 216 games played are the most in Bengals history. That number will not increase going forward.

Huber announced via his Twitter account on Friday that he is hanging up his cleats after 14 seasons.

The former late-round pick was born and raised in the city of Cincinnati. He would then play his college ball for the Cincinnati Bearcats before being drafted by the Bengals.

Huber ended up having quite the distinguished career as his 45,766 yards punting rank 20th all-time and his 45.3 yards per punt average is tied for 21st all-time. Throw in a 2014 Pro Bowl nod, and Huber did quite alright for a local Cincinnati kid.

There's no question that Huber will be in the Bengals' Ring of Honor someday.
