Not including Joe Burrow, two Cincinnati Bengals players were unable to practice on Thanksgiving Day.
Tee Higgins (hamstring) and Cam Taylor-Britt (quad) continued to sit out as a pivotal matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers is just a few days away. Higgins and Taylor-Britt have been DNPs for the past two days.
The Bengals were without Higgins in the last two games, and Taylor-Britt missed most of last week's game. The way things are trending right now, it looks as if neither will play this Sunday.
The inactives list shouldn't feature many more notable players on the roster as everyone else was a participant at practice. The only negative trend appears to be with D'Ante Smith, who was limited with a knee injury. Smith is one of the Bengals' backup offensive tackles.
On the flip side, Andrei Iosivas was a full participant after being limited Wednesday with his knee injury. DJ Reader also returned to practice in full capacity despite being out sick Wednesday.
Burrow is still listed on the injury report because the team has not placed him on the Reserve/Injured list yet. They'll have to do so in order to activate Chase Brown, who's been a full participant in back-to-back days, back to the active roster.
