Joe Burrow's season-ending injury isn't the only injury the Cincinnati Bengals have recently dealt with. Starters Tee Higgins, Sam Hubbard, and Cam Taylor-Britt have all been playing through ailments or missing time because of them in recent weeks.

Fortunately, one of them practiced Wednesday as the team prepares to host the Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday.

Hubbard practiced for the first time since injuring his ankle over two weeks ago against the Buffalo Bills.

Head coach Zac Taylor grouped Hubbard and Higgins together in talking about their health progressing prior to practice. But while Hubbard got work in with the team, Higgins went straight to the rehab field and did not practice.

Higgins has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury. His absence opened the door for rookie Andrei Iosivas in Week 10, but Iosivas also suffered an injury that week and missed Week 11. Thankfully, Iosivas did practice Wednesday.

As for Taylor-Britt, the cornerback is still day-to-day with a quad injury he's been nursing for several weeks and did not practice. His status will be closely monitored along with Hubbard and Higgins as the week progresses. DJ Reader did not practice either, but his ailment is being under the weather.

Along with Hubbard and Iosivas, Akeem Davis-Gaither and B.J. Hill were each limited Wednesday. Everyone else on the team was a full participant, including rookie Chase Brown, who was cleared to practice earlier this week.

Burrow is still listed on the injury report because the team has not placed him on the Reserve/Injured list yet. They'll have to do so in order to activate Brown back to the active roster.
