The Cincinnati Bengals are back on the practice field, and a key player has returned in uniform.

Cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt returned to practice the same day he was cleared to do so. Taylor-Britt has spent the last four weeks on the Reserve/Injured list.

Taylor-Britt still needs to be officially activated off I.R. in order to play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Practicing as soon as possible leading up to the game is as good a sign as any that he'll be playing.

Wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase isn't officially practicing with his AC joint sprain, but he was participating in drills on the rehab field without a jersey on.

Chase was a non-participant all last week after suffering a separated shoulder against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 15. This was the first time he's been seen working on the rehab field since.

Reports stated that Chase may miss more than one game, but head coach Zac Taylor continued to label him "day-to-day" as the week of practice began.

Chase was the lone Bengals player to not practice Wednesday. Cornerback Jalen Davis (groin) and edge defender Cam Sample (knee) were each limited, and Taylor-Britt (ankle) was a full participant.
