During free agency, the Cincinnati Bengals brought in veteran tight end Irv Smith Jr. on a one-year deal. That's a solid pickup, but with his injury history, the Bengals can do more at the position.

Michael Mayer has been a popular pick to fill this need in the first round. However, Pro Football Focus recently named a player that could do so on Day 3, and that's Zack Kuntz of Old Dominion.

Kuntz is one freak athlete at the tight end position. The 6-foot-7, 255-pounder ran a 4.55-second 40-yard dash at the combine. He would give the Bengals a cheap vertical threat at tight end.

Kuntz is not only a rare athlete as far as his size and speed, but he was also versatile in college. He logged 302 snaps in the slot and 46 as an outside receiver per PFF.

In addition to his amazing time in the 40-yard dash, Kuntz's 40-inch vertical jump (tallest player to hit that mark since 2003) and 10'8" in the broad jump helped him post a perfect 10.00 RAS score.

His name won't generate a lot of buzz. However, Kuntz is an underrated talent and is without question a name to keep a lookout for next weekend.
