Day two of preparation for the Jacksonville Jaguars is taking place for the Cleveland Browns.

On Thursday, Cleveland had a few players that did not participate. Those not out there were TE David Njoku (knee), WR Amari Cooper (concussion), and K Dustin Hopkins (unknowns).

Cleveland received good news yesterday with CB Denzel Ward coming back to practice after missing two games with a shoulder injury. Additionally, RB Kareem Hunt was back at practice after missing on Wednesday with a groin injury.

Cooper was ruled out of the loss against the Rams in Week 13 after entering protocol. The No. 1 wide receiver took a tough hit that forced him to exit the game. Elijah Moore stepped up and had his best game with the Browns by going north of 80 receiving yards.

Tomorrow will tell more about Cooper and Njoku’s status for Week 14. Both players are veterans who could play on one day of practice (Friday).

Dorian Thompson-Robinson remains in the concussion protocol but is allowed to participate in some things at practice. It’s all about the process of working through the protocol. All signs point toward the Browns starting QB Joe Flacco.
