Cleveland Browns still have a bunch of free agent fits remaining out there after a crazy Day 1 of legal tampering in the NFL.

Day 1 of NFL free agency brought the Cleveland Browns two signings with one coming on each side of the football.

Cleveland started a couple of hours into free agency by signing former Los Angeles Chargers G Zion Johnson. The Browns later signed former New York Jets LB Quincy Williams to be their Devin Bush replacement.

With Day 2 of tampering here, let’s take a look at a few players still out there who could fit with the Browns.

OT Rasheed Walker

Walker remains as the top left tackle option ok the market after Day 1. Jermaine Eluemunor has experience playing both tackle spots but his only getting $13 million a year gives me hope we won’t see Walker command north of $20 million a season. Walker is a nice story as a seventh-round pick in 2022 who started the last three seasons for the Packers.

With Walker, you’re getting a solid pass protector and below average run blocker. If the Browns went this route, they very well could use the No. 6 overall pick to take someone like WR Carnell Tate to upgrade the offense

C Austin Corbett

Corbett was a second-round pick by the Browns in 2018 but he was traded a year later to the Los Angeles Rams. Corbett developed into a starter by 2019 with the Rams as a left guard, then spent the next three seasons as the starting right guard. The former Brown signed as a free agent with the Carolina Panthers in 2022.

The Browns didn’t get Linderbaum so they need to at least bring in competition to compete with Luke Wypler for the starting center job. Corbett can do that and give you depth across the three interior spots. An easy fit for the Browns.

DT Sebastian Joseph-Day

Cleveland could bring Shelby Harris back for another season and I’d be completely fine with it. But Sebastian Joseph-Day is another intriguing option out there to be a run-stopping depth for the Browns on the interior of the defensive line. Joseph-Day stacked back-to-back seasons with over 40 tackles and two sacks for the Tennessee Titans. Would be a nice defensive tackle addition to add to the group of Maliek Collins, Mason Graham, and Mike Hall Jr.
