The Denver Broncos are trying to fill an open roster spot with another skill position player.
On Tuesday, the Broncos cut quarterback Jarrett Guarantano and made Ben DiNucci the third-string quarterback, but that left a roster spot open that they can fill to get back to 90.
The Broncos then worked out Michael Bandy, Josh Hammond, and Justin Marshall.
Bandy played for the Los Angeles Chargers last season. He appeared in 10 games and finished with ten catches for 89 yards. Bandy was also with the Chargers the year prior.
Hammond played in two games for the Jaguars last season but failed to receive any stats at all. But, who knows, the 6'0" Florida native could end up doing something and make the 90-man roster.
Finally, Justin Marshall hasn't played a game in the league yet. However, he was once on the New Orleans Saints practice squad.
These guys may not seem like they have otherworldy talent, but you never know how a player can help a team. Undrafted free agent rookie Jalen Virgil scored a touchdown last season.
