The Denver Broncos have one of the best defensive players in the league. When you think about what we know he is capable of doing, too, he could be considered one of the best overall players in the league, honestly.

Patrick Surtain II is an elite defender. In many people's minds, he is the best cornerback in the league. He can lock down a whole side of the field, and when it came to playing some of the best wide receivers in the league so far this year, he has fared more than well.

The Broncos truly have a generational talent in Surtain. But are there ways they could get him on the field outside of defense? We have seen cornerbacks in the past do that, some of the best of all time, like Deion Sanders, a guy who is also in Colorado at the moment.

Surtain would certainly be interested in that.

"If there were a time and an opportunity to get those offensive snaps, I would be there," Surtain said on NFL Insiders.

The Broncos are finding trouble getting their rookie, Marvin Mims, the ball in the offense. So, adding Surtain at the moment may not be a great idea. However, if they ever figure out how to get more than Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton involved in their wide receiver groups, Surtain could surely be helpful.

He has the ball skills, hands, and athletic ability to play the position. And he played it in high school. It would certainly be fun to watch.
